The mission of CAST is reflected in the CAST logo. The logo is a 3D object called a tetrahedron. Tetrahedrons are very strong objects. They are constructed of four triangles, assembled in such way that they form four surfaces or sides. So we have a 3D object with four sides and four vertices.

The four vertices are labeled with the four letters C, A, S, T. The acronym CAST is our name Cebu Animators Society for Talent. The vertices are nouns and represent who we are.

• Cebu: The city where we live and work. Our corner of the universe.
• Animators: Our profession, our passion and what we do best.
• Society: Our special interest group, the CAST organization and what it represents.
• Talent: The people in our group who make this thing happen.

The four sides are made up of verbs and represent what we do :

• Creative: The process of idea generation and the determination to make it happen

• Attitude: The commitment to be the leader in the field and deliver a product at a fair price and on time

• Service: To add value to the customers business, the local community, the Philippine nation and the personal well being of all involved

• Teamwork: A pledge to work together with other workers, our customers and the world

The tetrahedron is an object with four sides. You can not construct a 3D object with three sides. The tetrahedron has a very interesting attribute. If one vertex is longer than the rest and the object is mounted on a pivot or bearing, the tetrahedron can be used as an indicator of the direction of the wind. It will always point into the wind.

CAST promotes this idea in in a promise to always be the front runner in the technology of animated movies. CAST promises to keep it's ear to the ground, it's nose to the wind, it's hands on the wheel and eyes on the road.

The four sides of the CAST tetrahedron are the same colors of the Philippine Flag. The Philippine flag colors are royal blue, white, red and gold.
